What on Earth!? How can you not stop and smile?

This morning I woke up and felt really good and energized. I was just ready to start the day. I had a little fun on the wii fit at 5:30Am before waking the kids.   A Valentine's gift from a dear husband.  I love video games and well, you might as well exercise while playing. Afterwards, I started with my chores.  Just trying to tackle  one room at a time.  The first room I cleaned was the children's living room.  Why did I choose this room? I knew Ethan & Ruby would play and watch TV, but I had no idea they would do this!? Here is a darling Ruby Isabella exhausted and asleep after her mayhem and destruction. Yes, that is toilet paper all over the floor. An entire roll they managed to toss all over the living room. They also got a hold of the baby bath and made some bubbles in  the boys bedroom, and got a hold of the lotion and squirted it all over  the footboard on my bed.  Where am I during all this? Feeling really good because I had washed, dried, and folded 4 loads of la

Moments I Cherish

Every mother knows what I am talking about. Every future mommy will quickly learn.

My little improvement project

I had to share my little home improvement project for this month.  We have had our lovely stain filled couch for nearly 10 years now.  It has been through 4 moves and 5 kids and has really been put through the ringer. I am sure with some persistence and major elbow grease, I could have removed most of these stains. But instead, I opted for a more easy, child friendly solution: slip covers.  I found this chocolate colored slip cover at overstock for a mere $50.  Not bad and it matches our roman shades. Stay tuned for my newly covered pillows....

Crazy Hard Month

I just wanted to share Savannah's new purple blanket I sewed together last week.  Talk about a super simple project. 2 yards of fleece and 2 yards of the furry purple sewn together and you have a young girls favorite blanket. Here she is before the illness took hold. She was enjoying a little webkins on the computer during our crazy snow days. Here is Savannah doing her usual thing these days, sleep. I guess her body is still fighting the croup and recovering from the multiple seizures. It has been just 3 days, but I am looking forward to having my active little chatter box back. Thanks for all the prayers. Onto daily things.  This week has been no different than others, aside from  Savannah's illness.  This is Ruby after she poured an entire cup of milk into her hair.  I am not sure if it is another trendy shampoo or what? She ran through my living room saying "Ethan, I need to brush my hair." I looked at her and thought "What!?" It was hard being mad at th
