Wow what a day we had yesterday! I took Xander and Ethan to the dentist yesterday morning. They both went back together but at separate stations for their dental work. I was a bit worried about Ethan being alone. Having Ruby, I cannot go back with them. Anyways, about 30 to 40 minutes later, Ethan came out with little chipmunk cheeks. The dentist said he did great and he was a brave little soul. He had to have two small cavities filled. He said it hurt and went about his business. About 15 to 20 minutes after Ethan came out, Xander came out with 2 new silver teeth. He had not seen them but said his mouth hurt. Then he ran and played. These kids are so tough, you would not have known they had dental work done.

When we went to the school to tube Larry, he saw Xander's new teeth and said "that's so cool! I want some too." Wouldn't you know, cavities can be a cool thing in our family.

Yesterday afternoon's appointment was the one I was most worried about. Savannah had to have the first of 2 teeth pulled. She was back there more than an hour. Savannah was so excited to go though. I kept telling her she was having a tooth pulled and she said she did not care she was just excited to go. Well, when she came out, she had a mouth full of gauze, her cavity filled tooth around her neck, and a pink nose mask that smelled like bubble gum. She was so popular all night. The boys wanted to see the tooth and smell the mask. She never complained and ate dinner like nothing had happened. "Are these my kids?" I am a big cry baby with pain and they act like it is nothing.

Last night we were under a severe weather warning, but it gave me a lot of awesome snap shots. The kids saw the most beautiful rainbow right in our back yard. Savannah wanted to go outside and hunt for the leprechaun's pot of gold. She thought she would be RICH! And the clouds were indescribable. Larry Denzil swore it was something you would see in a end of the world / alien flick.

I am sure those of you with school age children know that Dr. Seuss' birthday was this week. Larry has been coming home with prop's all week. One day he had labels on his feet for left foot and right foot, then he had the famous Dr. Seuss red and white top hat. Ruby fell in love with that hat and walked all over the place with it on. We can't wait to see what he brings

home today.

Wow, I love your "end of the world" picture. Those clouds are amazing. What a great picture! Oh, and of course, your kids are adorable! Sometimes I think it's harder on us moms than the kids when they're hurt. I love your new blog. Was it hard to set up?

12 Wonderful Years

Saturday was mine and Larry's 12 year anniversary.  We enjoyed an absolute wonderful weekend together.  Larry was able to get off work friday at a decent time and did not have to go in on saturday.  And on Sunday, he did not have the early morning church meetings, so we were able to drive together.  As a matter of fact, we were able to enjoy a beautiful Christmas cantata on a gorgeous Sabbath morning. Friday evening we enjoyed  Don't ask me how I talked Larry Denzil into this, but I did and I enjoyed every minute of it. This was such a happy, girlie movie and I truly did enjoy every moment of it.  I love musicals and especially love music of the 70's.  I could remember so many of the songs as if they were new.  Listening to them in my dad's '73 camaro as he picked me up from the day care. Wow, how time flies. On saturday, I enjoyed breakfast that Larry prepared with the kids.  It was so nice to not have to cook.  Notice I did not say clean.  He did leave the mess fo
