Happy Mother's Day

I want to wish all the mommys a very Happy Mothers Day. Yesterday I was surprised with a bouquet of 2 dozen roses DELIVERED! Anyone who knows Larry Denzil, knows he does not send flowers. He has never sent me flowers. On a rare few occassions he has bought me flowers and delivered them himself. Most of that occurred during our dating years. Anyways, I wanted to share my beautiful bouquet from Proflowers.

As you all know, we have been working very hard in our yard. We have our garden up, with the exception of a few plants the kids have brought from school. Xander has brought home about 5 plants and for FHE we ate cantaloupe and the kids planted all those seeds which have sprouted. Anyways, when we moved here, our yard was bare with the exception of a lonely hibiscis tree. Over the last 2 years, we have planted fruit trees and made a flower bed in the front yard. Many of my plants in the front, were given to me by my mom, from her garden. I wanted to share my

Japanese Iris that has finally bloomed. The picture truly does not do it justice. It is the most vibrant deep purple I have ever seen in nature.

Another plant I am very proud of is my Japanese Maple tree. Larry Denzil bought this for me last summer and we put it in a nice pot in the front yard. It is such a beautiful green and is just a very beautiful tree.
I know this is a boring post, but I am very proud of my plants and flowers. I did get to attend a pampered chef party last night. I love that pampered chef and I wish I would have known about them 12 years ago. You can have a Pampered Chef bridal shower. How Awesome is that?!?

I'm really impressed you can get things to grow with all the wind. I've been blaming all of our dead plants on the wind (and cold) but maybe I'm just bad at it. Your iris is beautiful. Good job.

Girls Camp

This year, Savannah got to attend her very first girls camp. Here she is with Morgan, another first timer.  Not sure how Savannah would have done without Sister Skroski. She showed Savannah the ropes and really took care of her in my absence.  Savannah all excited to leave. I can only guess what these last few pictures are. Savannah had a great time and Larry was there as a priesthood chaperone so she was not completely alone. This summer was a summer of firsts for my girl. She had her first girls camp, her first youth Temple trip and her first talk in sacrament. Wow!

12 Wonderful Years

Saturday was mine and Larry's 12 year anniversary.  We enjoyed an absolute wonderful weekend together.  Larry was able to get off work friday at a decent time and did not have to go in on saturday.  And on Sunday, he did not have the early morning church meetings, so we were able to drive together.  As a matter of fact, we were able to enjoy a beautiful Christmas cantata on a gorgeous Sabbath morning. Friday evening we enjoyed  Don't ask me how I talked Larry Denzil into this, but I did and I enjoyed every minute of it. This was such a happy, girlie movie and I truly did enjoy every moment of it.  I love musicals and especially love music of the 70's.  I could remember so many of the songs as if they were new.  Listening to them in my dad's '73 camaro as he picked me up from the day care. Wow, how time flies. On saturday, I enjoyed breakfast that Larry prepared with the kids.  It was so nice to not have to cook.  Notice I did not say clean.  He did leave the mess fo
